    Here are the initial instructions and explanation of the lab environment. Read this while your environment is busy creating itself from nothing. Yes, this violates physics; we know. How fun!

  2. Challenge

    Configure Basic Networking on Ubuntu

    To start things off, you will learn how to configure an Ubuntu server to be equipped with its required network configuration settings, such as IP addressing and a default gateway, which are vital for network communications.

    Configure Basic Networking on RHEL

    Much like the previous challenge, you will learn how to configure the required networking settings, but this time you’ll be doing it on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

    Basic Network Troubleshooting

    To finish this lab, you will learn how to perform basic troubleshooting techniques within both Linux variants to help you find and diagnose problems.
